Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and spices.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
