Description

Pumpkin Pop Tarts are a delightful fall treat filled with a spiced pumpkin filling and topped with a sweet glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and spices until well combined.
  3. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into rectangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pumpkin mixture on half of the rectangles.
  5. Top with another rectangle and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Place the pop tarts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. In a separate bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled pop tarts before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a pinch of salt to the pumpkin filling.
  • These pop tarts can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
