A deliciously spiced syrup that adds a warm, autumnal flavor to your tea and coffee.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, and spices to the saucepan.
  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool.
