Description

Delicious and beautifully decorated cake pops shaped like roses, perfect for Valentine’s Day celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of frosting
  • 1 package of candy melts (pink and green)
  • lollipop sticks
  • edible glitter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions and bake in a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large bowl.
  3. Add frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the pink candy melts according to package instructions.
  7. Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted candy and insert it into a cake ball.
  8. Dip each cake pop into the pink candy melts, allowing excess to drip off.
  9. Use green candy melts to create leaves on the cake pops.
  10. Decorate with edible glitter if desired.
  11. Let the cake pops set before serving.

  • Make sure the cake balls are chilled before dipping to prevent them from falling off the sticks.
