- 2 pounds pork shoulder
- 1 jar (32 oz) sauerkraut, drained
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 apples, cored and sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the pork shoulder in the crock pot.
- Layer the sauerkraut, sliced onion, and sliced apples on top of the pork.
- Pour the chicken broth over the ingredients.
- Sprinkle caraway seeds, salt, and pepper over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender.
- Shred the pork and mix it with the sauerkraut before serving.
