A delicious and easy dinner recipe featuring kielbasa and sauerkraut cooked slowly for maximum flavor.

- 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
- 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Place the sliced kielbasa in the slow cooker.
- Add the drained sauerkraut on top of the kielbasa.
- Layer the chopped onion and sliced apples over the sauerkraut.
- Sprinkle brown sugar, caraway seeds, and black pepper over the top.
- Pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir before serving and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some red pepper flakes.
- Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
