- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can (14 oz) cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, orange juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Heat over medium heat until warmed through.
- Add the baked meatballs to the cranberry sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
- Adjust the sweetness of the sauce by adding more or less cranberry sauce based on your preference.
