- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp mustard
- 12 slider buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- While the mixture simmers, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the slider buns on a baking sheet and spoon the Sloppy Joe mixture onto each bun.
- Top with cheese if desired, and bake for 5-7 minutes until the buns are toasted.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
