Description

A delicious and easy recipe for glazed carrots cooked in a slow cooker with maple syrup and brown sugar.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the carrots in the slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the maple syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the carrots and stir to coat.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the carrots are tender.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg.
  • These glazed carrots can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
