Ingredients

  • 1 cup fideo noodles

  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the fideo noodles and cook until they are golden brown, stirring frequently.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and add the diced tomatoes, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
