- 1 cup fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup pesto
- 4 ounces prosciutto, sliced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Spread the pesto evenly over the dough.
- Top with mozzarella cheese, asparagus, and prosciutto.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, omit the prosciutto.
- Feel free to add other spring vegetables like peas or arugula.
- Use store-bought pesto for a quicker preparation.
