- 4 sheets of matzo
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the matzo sheets in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until combined.
- Pour the butter mixture over the matzo, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Let the chocolate sit for a few minutes to melt, then spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if desired.
- Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
