Description

A colorful and nutritious tofu stir-fry featuring a variety of fresh vegetables, perfect for a quick and healthy meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 oz firm tofu, cubed
  • 2 cups bell peppers, sliced (red, yellow, green)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the cubed tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add sesame oil and garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Add the bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, and carrot. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  7. Return the tofu to the skillet and add soy sauce. Stir well to combine.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.

  • Feel free to use any vegetables you have on hand.
  • For extra flavor, add ginger or chili flakes.
  • This dish can be served over rice or quinoa for a complete meal.
