Description

Tombstone ‘RIP’ Sandwiches are a delicious and creative way to enjoy a hearty meal, perfect for gatherings or themed parties.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 4 oz deli meats (ham, turkey, or roast beef)
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
  • 1/4 cup lettuce
  • 2 slices of tomato
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by toasting the bread slices until golden brown.
  2. Spread mayonnaise and mustard on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer the deli meats on one slice of bread.
  4. Add cheese, lettuce, and tomato on top of the meats.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Top with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  7. Cut the sandwich into halves or quarters for serving.
