Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 4 oz deli meats (ham, turkey, or roast beef)
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
- 1/4 cup lettuce
- 2 slices of tomato
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Start by toasting the bread slices until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise and mustard on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer the deli meats on one slice of bread.
- Add cheese, lettuce, and tomato on top of the meats.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Top with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
- Cut the sandwich into halves or quarters for serving.
