Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup French fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Add the blanched green beans to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Top with French fried onions and shredded cheddar cheese if using.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
