A refreshing and vibrant dessert made with agar agar, yuzu juice, and hibiscus, perfect for a vegan treat.
Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup yuzu juice
- 1/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers
- 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
- 2 tablespoons agar agar powder
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the dried hibiscus flowers and let it steep for about 10 minutes.
- Strain the hibiscus tea into a clean saucepan, discarding the flowers.
- Add the yuzu juice and sugar to the hibiscus tea, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Sprinkle the agar agar powder over the mixture and bring it to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the agar agar is fully dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into a mold and let it cool at room temperature.
- Once set, cut into cubes and serve chilled.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness according to your preference.
- For a more intense flavor, increase the amount of yuzu juice.
- Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
