Description

Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers are a delicious appetizer that combines spicy jalapeños, creamy cheese, and crispy bacon, all cooked to perfection on the grill.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until well combined.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
  6. Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeños on the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and the jalapeños are tender.
  7. Remove from the grill and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
  • These can be made ahead of time and grilled just before serving.
  • Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
