Description

A delicious and creamy Banana Pudding Cheesecake with a Southern twist, combining the flavors of classic banana pudding and rich cheesecake.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • Additional banana slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in sour cream and mashed bananas until well combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set and slightly jiggly.
  8. Let the cheesecake cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Prepare the instant vanilla pudding according to package instructions using milk.
  10. Spread the pudding over the chilled cheesecake and top with whipped topping.
  11. Garnish with banana slices before serving.
