Description

Delicious BBQ Baby Back Ribs that are slow-grilled to achieve fall-off-the-bone tenderness.


Ingredients

  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to a low heat, around 225°F (107°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
  5. Place the ribs on the grill bone side down and cook for 3-4 hours, maintaining a low temperature.
  6. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce.
  7. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with the spice rub.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the ribs reach an internal temperature of 190°F (88°C) for optimal tenderness.
