A delicious and hearty dish of BBQ baked beans enhanced with crispy bacon and sweet brown sugar, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients

- 2 cans of navy beans, drained and rinsed
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 cup of BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion until translucent.
- In a large bowl, combine the navy beans, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, cooked bacon, and sautéed onions. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until bubbly and heated through.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the amount of brown sugar based on your sweetness preference.
- For a spicier kick, add some chopped jalapeños or hot sauce.
