Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the dry rub ingredients: paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
  4. Rub the olive oil over the drumsticks, then coat them evenly with the dry rub mixture.
  5. Place the drumsticks on the grill and cook for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
