- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups BBQ sauce
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, heat the BBQ sauce over medium heat. Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the sauce and stir to coat.
- Slice the sub rolls and place them on a serving platter.
- Fill each sub roll with BBQ meatballs and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Optional: Place the filled subs under the broiler for 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
