Description

Delicious beef lasagna rolls packed with 42g of protein per roll, perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. On each lasagna noodle, spread a layer of the ricotta mixture, followed by ground beef and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
  7. Roll up each noodle and place seam-side down in the baking dish.
  8. Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
  • Can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
