Description

BLT Avocado Quesadillas are a delicious and crispy summer dish that combines the classic flavors of a BLT sandwich with creamy avocado and melted cheese, all wrapped in a golden tortilla.


Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Place one tortilla in the skillet and layer half of the cheese on one half of the tortilla.
  3. Add the lettuce, tomato, avocado, and bacon on top of the cheese.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the toppings and fold the tortilla in half.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from the skillet and cut into wedges. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other ingredients like jalapeños or onions for extra flavor.
  • These quesadillas can be made vegetarian by omitting the bacon.
