Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers and onions. Sprinkle with salt and let sit for 1 hour.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, apple cider vinegar, mustard seeds, celery seeds, turmeric, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Drain the cucumbers and onions, then pack them into sterilized jars.
- Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the cucumbers and onions, ensuring they are fully submerged.
- Seal the jars and let them cool to room temperature before refrigerating.
- Allow the pickles to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours before serving for best flavor.

- These pickles can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the vinegar mixture.
- Adjust the sugar to taste if you prefer sweeter or less sweet pickles.
