Description

Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese is a deliciously creamy and spicy dish that combines the classic comfort of mac and cheese with the bold flavors of buffalo chicken.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the cooked macaroni to the chicken mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Fold in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese and blue cheese crumbles if using.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more buffalo sauce to taste.
