- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 100g fresh mozzarella, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Balsamic glaze (optional)
Instructions
- Toast the slices of whole grain bread until golden brown.
- While the bread is toasting, cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the mashed avocado evenly on the toasted bread.
- Layer the sliced tomatoes and mozzarella on top of the avocado.
- Add fresh basil leaves for garnish.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your Caprese Avocado Toast!
