Description

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the apple cider vinegar, water, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Place the pork shoulder in a roasting pan and pour the vinegar mixture over it.
  4. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 4-5 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes before shredding.
  6. Serve the pulled pork with additional vinegar sauce on the side.
