Description

Cedar-Plank Salmon with Maple Mustard Glaze is a delicious and flavorful dish that combines the rich taste of salmon with a sweet and tangy glaze, all cooked to perfection on a cedar plank.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cedar plank (soaked in water for at least 1 hour)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillet on the soaked cedar plank.
  4. Brush the maple mustard glaze generously over the salmon.
  5. Place the cedar plank on the grill and close the lid.
  6. Grill for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to soak the cedar plank for at least 1 hour to prevent it from burning on the grill.
  • You can adjust the sweetness of the glaze by adding more or less maple syrup.
  • This dish pairs well with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
