Description

Delicious cheesy beef-filled potato pockets that are reminiscent of hot pockets, perfect for a quick meal or snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 cup ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them in a bowl.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions until translucent.
  4. Add ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; cook until beef is browned.
  5. Mix the beef mixture with the mashed potatoes and cheese.
  6. Roll out the potato mixture and cut into pockets.
  7. Fill each pocket with the beef and cheese mixture.
  8. Seal the edges and brush with egg wash.
  9. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
