Description

A delicious and indulgent cheesy garlic shrimp bread that combines succulent shrimp with a rich, cheesy topping, perfect for a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  5. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet.
  6. Spoon the shrimp mixture evenly over the bread halves.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the shrimp mixture.
  • Can substitute shrimp with cooked chicken or vegetables for a different variation.
  • Best served fresh out of the oven.
