Description

A refreshing blend of iced tea and lemonade, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a pot.
  2. Add the black tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the granulated sugar until dissolved.
  4. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
  5. In a pitcher, combine the cooled tea, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 4 cups of cold water.
  6. Stir well and refrigerate until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.

  • Adjust the sugar to taste for a sweeter or less sweet drink.
  • For a stronger tea flavor, steep the tea bags longer.
