- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 4 burger buns
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cup pickles
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and form loose balls.
- Place the beef balls on the hot skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form patties.
- Season the patties with salt and pepper.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes until a crust forms, then flip the patties.
- Add cheese on top if desired and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- While the burgers are cooking, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl to make the secret sauce.
- Toast the burger buns on the skillet until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading the secret sauce on the bottom bun, adding lettuce, tomato, pickles, and the burger patty on top.
- Finish with the top bun and serve immediately.
