Description

A simple and quick recipe for making cranberry sauce using canned cranberries, perfect for holiday meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) of whole cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the canned cranberry sauce, sugar, and water.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and cinnamon, and stir well.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool before serving.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, simmer longer.
  • Can be served warm or chilled.
