Description

A delicious and creamy shrimp alfredo pasta bake that is sure to please everyone at the table.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, sauté the garlic in a little olive oil until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shrimp, alfredo sauce, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
  • Feel free to substitute chicken for shrimp if desired.
