Crispy Baked Beef Tacos with Spicy Slaw are a delicious and satisfying meal, featuring seasoned ground beef and a zesty slaw wrapped in crispy taco shells.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 12 taco shells
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water as per package instructions. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. While the beef is cooking, prepare the spicy slaw by mixing mayonnaise, lime juice, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Add shredded lettuce and mix well.
  6. Fill each taco shell with the seasoned beef and top with diced tomatoes, cheese, and spicy slaw.
  7. Place the filled taco shells on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until crispy.
  8. Serve hot with sour cream on the side.
