- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 12 taco shells
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water as per package instructions. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- While the beef is cooking, prepare the spicy slaw by mixing mayonnaise, lime juice, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Add shredded lettuce and mix well.
- Fill each taco shell with the seasoned beef and top with diced tomatoes, cheese, and spicy slaw.
- Place the filled taco shells on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until crispy.
- Serve hot with sour cream on the side.
Notes
- For extra spice, add jalapeños to the slaw.
- These tacos can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
