- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with cornstarch until well coated.
- In a separate bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger to create the sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring to coat.
- Serve the crispy shrimp over cooked rice and top with mixed vegetables.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double fry the shrimp.
- Adjust the sweetness of the sauce by adding more or less honey.
