Instructions
- Place the sliced onions at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper, then place them on top of the onions.
- Pour the beef broth and French onion soup over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese on top and cover until melted.
