- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
- Top with chopped nuts if desired.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until set.
- Serve warm, optionally with whipped cream or ice cream.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use a spice cake mix instead of yellow cake mix.
