A rich and creamy Puerto Rican coconut drink, perfect for the holidays and celebrations.
Ingredients

- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 cup white rum
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the sweetened condensed milk, coconut milk, evaporated milk, white rum, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
- Blend on high until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.
- If desired, add shredded coconut and pulse a few times to mix.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or spice as needed.
- Pour the mixture into a bottle or jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Serve chilled, garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg if desired.
Notes
- Coquito can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a month.
- Shake well before serving as ingredients may separate.
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum.
