- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 package (3 oz) strawberry jello
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1 package (3 oz) unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water (for gelatin)
- 1/2 cup cold water (for gelatin)
- Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Dissolve the strawberry jello in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
- Add 1 cup of cold water to the jello mixture and stir well.
- Pour the jello mixture into a mold and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the unflavored gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water.
- Add 1/2 cup of cold water to the gelatin mixture and stir until combined.
- Allow the gelatin mixture to cool slightly, then mix in the vanilla yogurt until smooth.
- Once the strawberry jello is set, pour the yogurt mixture over the top and refrigerate until fully set, about 2 more hours.
- Once set, carefully unmold the jello and garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.
Notes
- For a more vibrant color, you can add a few drops of red food coloring to the strawberry jello.
- Make sure the yogurt is at room temperature for easier mixing.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance for convenience.
