Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted butter into a baking dish and then pour the batter over the butter.

  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
