Description
Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Potatoes is a savory dish featuring tender steak pieces cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, served alongside crispy potatoes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.
- While the potatoes are roasting, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet and let it melt.
- Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the remaining butter, minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary to the skillet. Stir to coat the steak bites in the garlic butter.
- Once the potatoes are done, serve them alongside the garlic butter steak bites, drizzling any remaining garlic butter over the top.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the steak bites in garlic and herbs for a few hours before cooking.
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or onions to the skillet for a complete meal.
- Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the steak pieces.
