- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together all the dry rub ingredients.
- Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken drumsticks.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the drumsticks on the grill and cook for about 30-35 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the drumsticks in the dry rub for a few hours or overnight.
- Adjust the cayenne pepper to your spice preference.
- Serve with your favorite BBQ sauce on the side.
