Ingredients

- 2 slices of ciabatta bread
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- Fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons of pesto
- Olive oil for grilling
Instructions
- Preheat a grill or panini press.
- Spread pesto on one side of each slice of ciabatta bread.
- Layer tomato slices, mozzarella, and basil on one slice of bread.
- Top with the other slice of bread, pesto side down.
- Brush the outside of the sandwich with olive oil.
- Grill the sandwich for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the tomatoes in balsamic vinegar before adding them to the sandwich.
- Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best taste.
