- 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 12 slices of bacon, cut in half
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap each filled jalapeño with a half slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
- Place the wrapped jalapeños on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and the jalapeños are tender.
- Remove from the grill and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
- These can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before grilling.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
