Description

Grilled Jalapeño Poppers are a delicious and spicy appetizer that combines the heat of jalapeños with a creamy cheese filling, perfect for grilling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed jalapeños on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Remove from the grill and garnish with chopped cilantro if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid irritation.
  • Adjust the amount of bacon and cheese to your taste.
  • For a milder version, use mini sweet peppers instead of jalapeños.
