Description

Delicious grilled pineapple and chicken skewers, perfect for a tropical BBQ experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 pineapple, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the cubed chicken to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken and pineapple chunks onto the skewers, alternating between chicken and pineapple.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
