- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 ripe avocado, mashed
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the turkey patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- While the burgers are grilling, mix the mashed avocado with lime juice.
- Once the burgers are cooked, place them on whole wheat buns and top with the avocado-lime mixture.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
Notes
- Make sure the turkey is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Feel free to add your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, or cheese.
- These burgers can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
