Description

A delicious and customizable grilled veggie burger build bar that allows you to create your perfect vegetarian burger.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup black beans, cooked and mashed
  • 1 cup quinoa, cooked
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for grilling
  • Burger buns
  • Assorted toppings (lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheese, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the mashed black beans, cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, onions, bell peppers, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and form into burger patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat.
  4. Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  5. Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute.
  6. Assemble your burger with your choice of toppings.
